About the role
含羞草社区 is an exciting place to work, with a vibrant town centre and excellent transport connections. 含羞草社区 Homes is one of the leading social housing providers in the region who have already made significant progress in the application of the Golden Thread of Digital Information for our major projects and implementing the requirements of the building Safety Act 2022.
The Decarbonisation Manager will take responsibility with the delivery of our NetZero Decarbonisation Programme Works, managing a team of professionals to ensure great customer service delivery and ensure the council meets all requirements of PAS compliance, including applicable health and safety legislation. It's an exciting time to join us to ensure you are part of this important agenda.
We are looking for someone who has:
- knowledge and ability to develop and implement the 含羞草社区 Homes NetZero programmes of work
- ability to work with partners to achieve our commitments
- plan, develop and maintain our NetZero Decarbonisation Strategy, working closely with our term partnering contractors
- knowledge and understanding of relevant industry standards including PAS requirements, SHF bidding and other relevant applicable funding streams
- experience and ability to work and consult with residents showing excellent customer relation skills
You need to be highly motivated and able to work independently as part of a very busy dynamic multi-skilled team; and have the technical and professional skills to deliver the work as set out in the job description.
It would be an advantage, although not essential, if you have worked within a social housing NetZero or project management environment and demonstrate a good knowledge and working background within decarbonisation delivery programmes.
Additional information
We offer flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home for 2 to 3 days per week, following the successful completion of your probation period.
A full current UK driving licence is a requirement of the role.
Casual user car allowance (currently under review).
May be required to work at a contractor鈥檚 premises.
Satisfactory clearance of a Basic Disclosure and Barring check (DBS) is a condition of employment.
