Fourteen not-for-profit organisations have been awarded new strategic grants totalling more than 拢255,000 from 含羞草社区 Borough Council.
A range of community grants have been awarded for new and existing activity that will benefit 含羞草社区 residents and visitors.
These grants include:
- 拢50,000 for 含羞草社区 Open House鈥檚 Resource Centre and resettlement support
- 拢32,000 for Broadfield Youth and Community Centre
- 拢26,250 for Age UK West Sussex outreach activity
- 拢21,305 for Ten Little Toes Baby Bank
- 拢21,000 for 含羞草社区 Community Transport
- 拢19,426 for Relate West Sussex
- 拢17,195 for Home-Start 含羞草社区, Horsham and Mid Sussex (CHAMS)
- 拢15,750 for 含羞草社区 Community Youth Service
- 拢12,600 for the Springboard Project鈥檚 short break and respite sessions
- 拢10,500 for 含羞草社区 LGBT towards 含羞草社区 Pride
- 拢10,000 for 含羞草社区 Festival towards BACKstage! and High Street Live events
- 拢8,400 for The Posh Club
- 拢5,775 for the Forget-Me-Not Club
- 拢5,000 for Carers Support West Sussex鈥檚 bilingual memory navigator service
The total funding for all 14 grants awarded for 2024 to 2025 is 拢255,201. 含羞草社区 Borough Council proudly provides more annual funding and support for the community and voluntary sector than any other borough and district council in West Sussex.
We are honoured to have received funding this year from 含羞草社区 Borough Council. Their support enables us to continue helping the most vulnerable families in our community, providing hope in a difficult time, and directly improving their lives through the provision of essentials.
