Goffs Park

Goffs Park is set in over 20 hectares of woodland, lawns and conservation habitats. It is the oldest park in º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø and offers a relaxed environment for visitors. Goffs Park has a prestigious Green Flag award.

Goffs Park House

Originally called Goffs Hillhouse, Goffs Park House was built in 1882 for the Sussex banker and landowner, Edwin Henty.

Getting there

Goffs Park is located on Horsham Road, Southgate. 

Train

From Ifield station walk south and turn left onto Gossops Green Lane, continue walking east for seven minutes then use the pedestrian bridge over º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Avenue.

From º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø station walk west until crossing the level crossing, then turn right onto Springfield Road, walk for six minutes until reaching Goffs Park.

Bus

Metrobus operates a service to the park via route 23.

Parking

There are two free car parks for Goffs park both with disabled parking. The lower car park is on Horsham Road, just before the level crossing and the upper car park is by Goffs Manor.

Minibus access

Due to a height restriction barrier the lower car park is unsuitable for parking a minibus.

Pitch and putt

There is an 18 hole pitch and putt course. You can pay to play at the Kiosk including hire of clubs and equipment on weekends and during the summer holidays.

Goffs Park Light Railway

Operated by the º¬Ðß²ÝÉçÇø Model Engineers, the light railway provides public passenger rides every Sunday 2–5pm from Easter to October.

Friends of Goffs Park

Friends of Goffs Park are ambassadors for the area, they help organise and promote events in the park and help to improve the public space.
